In Filitosa, south Corsica.

Why ?

I took the picture during a traditional Corsican fair.

Every year starting in August, the fiera di u Taravu lasts 3 days. It’s a fair where people present local productions, food, craft, arts and agricultural products.

There are also debates, open-air balls and concerts. There was a big concert lots of people attended on Saturday night. An impressive number of white tables and chairs was put in a big field for this occasion.

I was there and I made up my mind to come back the day after under the afternoon’s heavy sun.

I discovered all the chairs and tables were in a chaotic state as if suddenly everything had been abandoned.
